Gerald Aquila (Mesaric)
CEO & Managing Director
Gerald Aquila is the founder and CEO of Onepoint. His core responsibilities include marketing, finance and business development.
Since 1996 Mr. Aquila was able to gain substantial experience in the areas of software development, project management, product management and marketing at Hyperwave, one of the leading vendors of knowledge management software in Europe. He was also working as a business consultant for various companies and as a technical consultant for the Know Center, the Austrian competence center for knowledge management.
Privately, Mr. Aquila writes about project leadership techniques and their practical applications in his weblog Task 1. He has published multiple articles on topics such as databases, knowledge management and project management in renowned trade journals.
Michael Brand
Vice President Sales
Michael Brand is responsible for the development and the management of the Onepoint sales team.
Having worked in marketing and sales positions for large companies like Unisys, Oracle and Sequent in the past he brings along a wide management and sales experience.
Operatively, Mr. Brand is primarily concerned with sales in Germany.
Dieter Freismuth
Director Development
Dieter Freismuth is heading up the core software development team which is repsonsible for the product development.
Earlier, he was working as a database developer for Hyperwave with a focus on Oracle. He could gather his extensive Java know how while contributing to several research projects at the IICM of the TU Graz where he also gained first experiences as project manager.
Mr. Freismuth studies Technical Mathematics at the TU Graz. His master thesis is focused on innovative approaches to resource planning.
Peter W. Gstettner
Director Operations & Research
Peter Gstettner is repsonsible for the operation of the Onepoint Store and, since beginning of 2008 as the head of research also for the underlying calculation algorithms of Onepoint Project.
Before joining Onepoint, Mr. Gstettner was working in the software development division of one of the major Austrian banks. Prior, He could gain additional experience in the operation and the development of complex software systems at the Hyperwave AG as the deputy director of the database department.
Mr. Gstettner owns a master degree in Telematics from the Technical University Graz.
