Kostenbasisplan

Project managers often "drown" in cost controlling Excel sheets. Onepoint Project hands a helping hand by seamlessly integrating an efficiently editable cost baseline with other planning tools such as a work breakdown structure and a GANTT-schedule.

Integrated & Easy to Use

The integrated cost baseline makes complicated external Excel sheets for project costs calculation obsolete. The tabular view is easily editable just like an Excel spreadsheet, but automatically synchronized with all other planning views including the work breakdown structure and the schedule. Note also that the cost baseline is an integral part of the project plan, and thus, automatically version controlled.

Automatic Calculation of Personnel Costs

Onepoint Project allows you to specify different internal and external hourly rates for all resources. This makes an automatic calculation of personnel costs and proceeds by the cost baseline possible. The optional fine granularity of hourly rates lets you adjust rates on four different levels down to the per resource and project and time interval level.

Monitor Costs and Proceeds

A cost baseline does only provide real value if it can also be easily monitored and controlled. With Onepoint, work slips allow project managers and contributors to efficiently track actual costs that automatically adjust cost projections. Any deviations between the cost baseline and the projected values are visually signaled in all plan/actual comparison views using traffic light colors.
