The project pipeline provides a great new way to view all relevant information across your ongoing projects in a single, accessible chart. By organizing projects into a pipeline of project statuses the dynamics of your project organization become transparent.
All Information at a Glance
Monitoring your project portfolio becomes significantly more straightforward by using Onepoint's project pipeline feature. The pipeline shows you all relevant information about your active projects at a glance including project status, number of projects in each status, the relative size of each project and its degree of completeness.
Furthermore, the pipeline provides a simple traffic light function by coloring projects that are significantly above or below plan in red or green colors.
Access to Project Dynamics
Because the pipeline chart is primarily based on the project status of each project, the dynamics of your project portfolio are made fully transparent. You can, for instance, easily see which projects are still in the acquisition phase or what projects are already currently being implemented. This in turn helps you to get a first understanding whether you might need more resources in development in the future or whether you will run into a potential cash flow problem, because projects are maybe getting stacked in the acceptance status.
