If you are planning dates and dependencies then the project schedule is the right tool for you. Onepoint's GANTT chart feature adds color in order to let you categorize your phases and work packages and improve the clear view of your schedule.

Drag & Drop Scheduling

The integrated schedule (GANTT chart) features full drag & drop capabilities. Phases, work packages, milestones and dependencies are drawn similarly like in familiar drawing applications such as, e.g., Visio and Photoshop. The current date, the start date of the project plan and the envisioned finish date are visualized using orange, green and red lines respectively.

Clear Schedules and Quick Access

The GANTT chart makes use of the system-wide defined activity categories in a way that individual activities are colored differently based on the category they belong to. This improves the clear view of the schedule. In addition, a mouse-over functionality allows fast access to relevant facts about each activity.

Analyzing Schedules Easily

Furthermore, Onepoint's automatic versioning functionality is used by the schedule in order to visualize a history GANTT chart. The most current version of the plan is overlaid with white and black triangles displaying start and finish dates of previous plan versions. In addition, filters can be used to limit the number of versions for comparison or to get quick access to the schedule of a specific resource.
