Aufgaben und Kommentare
Most classical project and task management applications force you to choose between a planned and a dynamic approach to project planning. Onepoint goes one step further and combines these two aspects of planning by adding ad hoc tasks and comments.
Assigning Tasks Dynamically
Beside the classic option of scheduling activities in a project plan, Onepoint Project also supports so called ad hoc tasks that can be created on the fly. Ad hoc tasks are a great way to document small changes or additions to a project’s execution scope without having the overhead of changing the project plan.
A project manager can dynamically create tasks and assign resources from his project's resource pool. Project contributors will then find these tasks together with planned tasks in one and the same task list.
Track, Control and Analyze
Ad hoc tasks - just like planned tasks - can be used to track actual time and costs. They also show up in all resource and costs monitoring and controlling views as well as in the relevant reports.
All Information in One Place
Another useful tool in order to document small changes content-wise are comments. All users working on a specific planned activity or ad hoc task can create comments for this activity. This helps with keeping the information in the project plan up-to-date and in one place.
