Open Source Editions
Onepoint Project is a commercially funded project that has gone open source - typically, it is the other way round. Why did we decide to open up? There are several good reasons to create open source software, for instance:
- Open source creates trust. A decision for a young company is easier knowing that you always have access to the core source code
- Open source shows quality. People can see for themselves whether the product is well designed and reliably engineered
- Open source means connectivity. An open source code base makes it always easier to integrate with other applications
