Onepoint Report Nr. 23 (Q2/2009)
despite the fact that the 2nd quarter of this year was most probably the toughest quarter of the ongoing economic crises, we are happy that we could further grow our customer base especially in the consulting and banking industries. We are also happy that we got so much positive feedback about Onepoint Project 9 - especially after upgrading and officially announcing Onepoint Project On Demand, our Software as a Service (SaaS) offering "powered by IBM".
In order to use the Summer efficiently we are going to define the next iteration of our Controlling-Cycle Option together with interested customers and prospects. If you are not yet part of this process and you want to provide input, please contact us at email@example.com. We are also working on a minor update (Onepoint Project 9 Update 1) that beside bug fixes will also include a couple of new features - read more about this in the Solution section.
With this I would like to wish you a nice, relaxing and sunny summertime (and those of you in the very South a not too cold winter ;-).
Gerald Mesaric, CEO
Upcoming Onepoint Project 9 Update 1
Onepoint Project 9 Update 1 is scheduled for end of July and will fix a small number of issues that have been reported since our recently released new major software version. We are very pleased that we have nearly all enterprise customers already on Release 9 and that we have so far encountered only a very, very small number of problems.
This fact frees up some additional resources for this update and thus, allows us to add a number of smaller improvements. Please note that we will only include new features that cannot break any major core functionality:
Onepoint Project 9 Basic & Open Released
Onepoint Project 9 Basic & Open editions have been released just a couple of weeks ago. If you have not already updated to release 9 you should definitely do so. Most people like the user interface improvements a lot and find the new week-based work slips much more comfortable than the "old" daily work slips that were in use until Release 8.1.
Some new features that might want you get in touch with us regarding an upgrade to the Enterprise Edition include the "Report Wizard" that lets you create tabular reports via point & click complete with up to four levels of grouping and sorting as well as the new optional modules such as the Risk Management Option or the Issue Tracking Option. Simply send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at +43 699 17 17 17 22 in order to discuss your requirements with us.
